No One Will Call Me Professor
/Hey Pokefans. I’m one of the new Pokemon TCG editors. I’m going to be straight with you. I’m awful at the video games. I preorder every one thinking that I will be determined to beat it and love it and 100% the game. I have just gotten past the 3rd gym in Pokemon Black and I also just had to get up and check which game I owned. I picked Snivy for my starter and my team has a level 1 Pidove on it, not even holding an item. What I can do well is explain the Pokemon TCG to you. I can strategize on the same level about the TCG that the other editors bring the video game and broaden your view of the Pokemon world.
AOTW: Contrary
/
Ooooooh, we’ve got a good’un this week, folks. Well, at least a cool one with a lot of potential. Nintendo, why do you keep doing this to me? Some of the new Abilities that were released in generation five are really cool, but then you give it to a pokémon that gets almost no benefit from it! Man… The irony of this statement is that that’s pretty much exactly what this week’s Ability does. Mary, Mary, this is quite the Ability of the Week: Contrary!
4 Pokémon You Should Consider
/We all know legendaries are the strongest thing out there in the Pokémon world, and no one like to lose... so in terms, most teams are filled with Palkias and Dialgas, but lets take a look at a few Pokémon out of the 400+ that you should consider. Now these aren't the best Pokémon for the job, but they aren't bad. That being said, it's more of a different look at strategy's other then... who's the strongest out there strategy.
1. Glaceon
Glaceon is one of the four pure Ice Pokémon out there. ONE of FOUR! That means something right? Well... this evolution of Eevee has pretty good stats, but not the best. That said, it's ability is Snow Cloak, which causes evasion to increase by 20% in a hailstorm, is pretty sweet. Now think about this, Blizzard has 100% accuracy in a hailstorm. Good reason to use a move like Hail. Glaceon strong point is special attack, so Blizzard not only get the STAB bonus, but it's going to be 100% accurate and Galceon is going to have a good start on avoiding attacks. Just something to think about before you evolve you Eevee.
