Team Tactics: Introduction to Destruction

Last we spoke, I was younger.  I had a sweet pompadour, and a devil-may-care attitude.  My jeans were tight and I wore a leather jacket of passion.  You had long flowing hair, and we discussed many things.  In particular, how to force Pokémon to breed for our amusement.  They became violent extensions of our very being, and the world was a beautiful place.

I want to get that feeling back Pokémaniacs.  Breeding was only the tip of the iceberg.  I want to get into the nitty gritty.  I am not going to swamp you with more numbers.  Okay, there will be some numbers, but they won't be nearly as complicated or involved as IV breeding.  Though if you want to get the most out of this series, you will probably want to go back and review the Breeding 101 series as I will build upon that knowledge in this series.  A series I like to call…

Team Tactics!  Go ahead, yell it out.  It feels good.

You are probably asking yourself, "What is this about?  Has this man gone completely insane?  Why is he shirtless and rambling?"  Well, I can answer one of those.

Team Tactics is going to focus on a single Pokémon on a bi-weekly basis.  In particular, I plan on taking an in-depth look at how each Pokémon fits into a team.  I will focus on abilities, move sets, and strategy.  I will discuss how to breed for the strongest stats, what items to equip, and even aesthetics and gimmicks.  And I need your help.

I could sit here and arbitrarily choose a Pokémon to gab about, but I think that takes out some of the fun for you guys.  I want to know who you want on your team and I will cover them right here in two weeks.  From the time this goes up, I will give you a week to voice your opinions in the comments for the next Pokémon you want me to put under the microscope.  Be sure to include anything you are curious about along with your Pokémon suggestions.  For example, if you are curious how Mamoswine fits into an all Ice-type team, let me know.  I want this to be an interactive as possible.
