We attended Pokémon GO Fest in Chicago for the third year, and we have a full report on how Niantic did this event compared to years prior. The Pokémon Sword and Shield Direct unveiled new Pokémon including Corviknight, Wooloo, Gossifleur, and Drednaw. The Wild Area brings what seems to be the raid mechanic from Pokémon GO into a Zelda-like environment for multiplayer action. Game Freak showed off characters such as your Rival, the Champion, and the Professor of Galar. We talk about how Dynamax can provide more possibilities over Z-Moves or Mega Stones. Finally, we talk about how the Legendary Pokémon may be related to CMYK.
