Eeveelutions: Glaceon

We are switching around Glaceon and Leafeon because honestly, I ran out of time, and I know Glaceon better then Leafeon. So Leafeon will be Friday. No big.

Here we go...

Glaceon is one of the four pure Ice Pokémon out there. ONE of FOUR! That means somethingright? Well... this evolution of Eevee has pretty good stats, but not the best. That said, it's ability is Snow Cloak, which causes evasion to increase by 20% in a hailstorm, is pretty sweet. Now think about this, Blizzard has 100% accuracy in a hailstorm. Good reason to use a move like Hail. Glaceon strong point is special attack, so Blizzard not only get the STAB bonus, but it's going to be...

Eeveelutions: Umbreon

You want to know about Umbreon... well... first... it evolves from happiness at night. The opposite of Espeon. Night and Day... get it. Umbreon is the moonlight Pokémon, and it's ability is Synchronize, which, will pass on status problems. If you really care about this Eeveelution, Umbreon is the tallest out of all the other Eevees.

Umbreon rocks the Special Defense, followed by, regular Defense. While I've seen Umbreon as an attack, it's best used as a Defensive Pokémon. For those gun-ho on making their...

Eeveelutions: Espeon

No Featured Team this week, sorry, we suck, we know, I'm lame, but it's #Eeveetober, so be HAPPY. After moving on from the original three, this week we take a keen eye into Espeon.

Espeon is the Psychic Eevee that evolves when happy in the sunlight. This is a huge difference from the stones used to evolve the first three, Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon. That being said, when you finally evolve your Eevee, your Espeon will have the ability Synchronize, which will pass any status...

Eeveelutions: Flareon

Flareon is the fire Eevee... also known as... the Flame Pokémon. I personally feel that Flareon was the left out child in the original 3 Eeveelutions. Sad. Well let’s make him popular today. First! GRAB A FIRE STONE! Done.

Now that you have your hot-hot-hot Flareon, let’s make him (or her) more awesome. Before we start, I want to point that that Flareon is the only evolved Fire-type that cannot learn Solarbeam. Lame. So anyways, off topic much, I know. Flareon heats it up in Attack and Special Defense. You can make Flareon a...

Eeveelutions: Vaporeon

Instead of doing the usual Rare Article today, sorry to disappoint anyone, we are going to kick off our Eevee week (next week) this week! Wait? What does this mean?

Today we look at Vaporeon, the all Water evolution of Eevee. First off, your going to need a Water Stone to evolve your Eevee. Vaporeon is the bubble-jet Pokémon with the ability of Water Absorb. Water Absorb will heal one quarter of your Max HP when your hit by a Water attack, therefor, water can’t damage you!

Gym Leaders

Today we talk about Gym Leaders. Today we bring back old emotions. Today we bond even closer. Today is Thursday... and this is our “Rare Article” posting.

Gym Leaders... who are they, where do they come from, what do they mean? Let’s start with the basics. Gym Leaders are the “boss” fights in Pokémon. Your goal in the game is to collect all the badges (usually eight) from the Gym Leaders to go on to battle the Elite Four, and then of course, your Rival. I’m not actually sure where they come from, maybe they are all born in Pallet Town? Double rainbow reference, well, not in this article. Let’s move on.

Not sure why I wrote that top paragraph...

Pokémon Comics

We are going to keep today’s article short and sweet. Well... I think we try to do that every week. Never really works that well... but we are not lying this time! Searching the web, we discovered a couple Pokémon Comics. Who doesn’t like a good laugh, right? There surprisingly are a lot of comics out there, like anything in the internet world, but two stood out to us that we would love to share with you guys.

Who Likes HMs?

Who Likes HMs?

HMs are the annoying little brother in your Pokémon life. You can’t throw them out because you need to rely and depend on them. So because HMs are so dumb... well dumb is a harsh word... let’s say... HMs can be greatly improved (a more positive look) we are going to complain about them and tell you what we would like.

First off, there was Cut, Fly, Surf, Strength, and Flash. In generation uno, these HMs could not be forgotten once taught to your Pokémon. So most Trainers got stuck with their Pikachu knowing Flash... or their Bulbasaur knowing Cut the entire game.

The Frozen Side of Things

This article is as cold as ice. Your willing to read to sacrifice...

I’m not entirely sure what your going to sacrifice during this read, but hopefully that corny intro got your attention to this week’s Rare Article. We are going to do the whole top 5 of our favorites and this article will kick off the NEW move of the week feature that will begin next Wednesday and continue on every Wednesday. Woot!
